This information is used solely to improve compatibility, troubleshoot crashes, and customize in-app content such as time-limited events or developer messages.

We do not use any of this data for advertising or profiling purposes. It is collected exclusively to enhance the app’s quality, reliability, and user experience.

Google Sign-In and Account Linking

Our application offers an optional sign-in feature using your Google account. By choosing to sign in with Google, and with your explicit consent, we receive your Google profile’s email address.

The primary purpose of collecting this information is to associate your in-app purchases and cloud backup data with your specific Google account. Your email address is used as a unique identifier within our app, and is validated against Firebase Authentication on our server to ensure account authenticity. This enables seamless restoration of your premium features and backups across multiple devices or after reinstallation.

We do not collect or store your Google password. The management of your Google account and its credentials is handled entirely by Google. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for more information.

In-App Purchases

HabitNow offers a one-time premium upgrade that unlocks additional features. Purchases are processed securely through Google Play Billing, and we do not collect or store your payment information.

Your premium purchase is linked to your Google account. It can be restored automatically by Google Play after reinstalling the app or switching devices, or manually by signing in with your Google account within the app.

User Generated Data and Cloud Backups

When using HabitNow as a non-premium user, your data is stored only on your device, and our team cannot access it.

Premium user cloud backups are stored securely in pseudonymous and obfuscated files on a third-party cloud service. We will never share or sell their content to anyone.

Cloud backups are an optional feature that has to be manually enabled from the app backups section. You can delete your backed up data from the app at anytime.

Google Play Services

The app uses Google Play Services, which may collect data for identification purposes.
